Treasurer’s Report
a.
Financial statements will be available in the next couple of weeks as year
end is in progress
b.
Financial Reporting for Locals will be brought forward at the meeting in
May. There was also discussion regarding having the locals do a brief
outline of meeting dates and who attended.
c.
Kids Up Front – need to ensure people are members prior to giving them
tickets
3.
Personnel Report
a.
The Personnel director reported that the office move went very smoothly,
and that the Federation is now much more green and the staff is happier
without the 3 hour commute .
4.
President’s Report
a.
The President and Vice President will be available for the IFCO meetings
and will be taking part in the presentation in whatever capacity the
committee wishes. Next conference call May 5th.
5.
Regional Delegates Reports
a.
Vancouver Coastal – The Regional Delegateis being contacted by the
locals. Invited to sit on a committee which looks at reconnection of
families
b.
Fraser –nothing to report
c.
Interior – MCFD has offered $3000 to help offset foster parents attending
the AGM. Partnership meetings still continue
d.
North – The Regional Delegate will attend Jackie Stuart’s funeral on
behalf of the BCFFPA. Locals are starting to become active again.
Partnership meetings are still taking place.
e.
Vancouver Island –absent

Old Business
a.
Executive Job Descriptions – The Secretary is still working on. BF at
May meetings
b.
Annual Reports – some are overdue. Board members were asked to
provide as soon as possible.
7.
New Business
a.
AGM – A provincial partnership update will be provided on Friday
afternoon from 1-4
